Ancient Geography and Epic Angling Opportunities

Central Georgia’s best fishing lies within the fall line, the geographic intersection of the piedmont and the coastal plain. In this unique region of habitat, warm water fish species abound and angling opportunities like this can be found nowhere else in the world. We primarily guide this region on the Flint and Ocmulgee Rivers. Trophy shoal bass thrive in both basins and this member of the black bass family can only be caught right here!

Unlike spooky trout, shoal bass often give multiple chances to set the hook and their life in flowing water makes them incredibly strong. Fishing for shoal bass should be on every angler’s bucket list! The Flint and Ocmulgee also give anglers opportunties at other species such as largemouth bass, spotted bass, longnose gar, and sunfish.
